Inspired by the night sky, these hīpuʻu style earrings are meant to bring us a little closer to the stars. The patterns of the kaula are inspired by the lines of a constellation, each line connecting to another. Through the kumulipo, we understand our deep relationship to the sky, as we descend from the stars.
